Job Interview

Please see below our advice on how to undergo a successful interview...

INTERVIEW PREPARATION

1. Selling points

Before every interview, think of 5 key skills that demonstrate how you are a good fit for the role in question. With each selling point have an example of when you demonstrated this skill, to show that you recognise what abilities the role will require you to possess.

2. Research

Researching both the company and the industry is highly important when attending an interview, this can be a determining factor in whether or not the outcome is in your favour. Before an interview, take the time to search the company, what their mission is, what goals they have for the near future, what services they provide, and so on.

3. Become the "interviewer"

Before attending an interview, ensure that you have several questions lined up to ask the employer. They may be interviewing you, but you are also trying to decide whether this is the kind of company you would like to be a part of. Take the time to ask questions about the company and the position, not only will this provide you with the information you need, but it will also show your employer that you are engaged.
